Project data

Your project name, source script, sections, notes, timing settings, recording tasks, filenames, and statuses are handled in the browser. The application saves one project with browser local storage when that storage is available.

Script text, section titles, notes, filenames, imported or exported content, and other project details are not placed in page metadata, public URLs, Google Analytics, or generated public pages.

Imports, exports, and reset

Markdown and JSON exports are generated as local downloads in your browser. A JSON import is read and validated in the browser before it can replace the current project. Reset removes the saved project after confirmation. These actions do not change the separate light or dark theme preference.

Website requests

The public website is delivered through Cloudflare, so ordinary connection information such as an IP address, request time, and browser details may be processed as part of serving and protecting the site. Online Script Timer does not include an account system.

Google Analytics

Online Script Timer uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visits and public page usage. The production tag can collect page addresses and titles, session statistics, approximate location, traffic source, and browser or device information. Google Analytics may set a first-party _ga cookie containing a pseudonymous client identifier.

No custom analytics events are configured. The application does not send script text, section titles, notes, filenames, exports, imported backups, timing values, or recording-task details to Google Analytics.

Your control

You can export a backup, reset the project from the planner, or clear this site’s local storage with your browser controls. Clearing browser data without first exporting a backup can permanently remove the locally saved project.
